Cetearyl Olivate

Composition: non-ionic emollient and co-emulsifier, obtained from esters of olive oil fatty acids (oleic) with fatty alcohols (cetearyl alcohol, mixture of cetyl and stearyl). Used in combination with SORBITAN OLIVATE (same properties)

Cosmetic properties, used as a texturizing agent:

·       Gentle emulsifier for stable, creamy and easily absorbed textures with a biomimetic effect

·       Indirect moisturizer & emollient : Helps maintain hydration by strengthening the protective film. Provides a feeling of softness and comfort and gives a non-greasy, silky finish.

·       Well tolerated by the skin : hypoallergenic, non-irritating. Suitable for sensitive skin, even for babies or atopic skin.
